Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how [Legal Business Name / LLC], doing business as Zech's K9 Training ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website, use our client portal, or work with us for dog training services.
Information we collect
- Identity & contact details — your name, email address, phone number, and mailing or billing address.

Legal bases for processing
Where data-protection laws such as the EU/UK GDPR apply, we process your information on the basis of performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing our business, your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), and compliance with legal obligations.
How we share information
- Service providers — hosting, database, email delivery, and payment processing partners who process data only on our behalf and are bound to protect it.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to restrict or object to certain processing or withdraw consent.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete, and correct your information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it), and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
- EEA/UK (GDPR): the rights listed above, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Terms of Service
By accessing our website, creating an account, booking an evaluation or session, or purchasing services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services. You must be at least 18 years old to enter into these terms.
Our services & accounts
- We provide dog training services (in person, live online, and board & train) and related online content. Sessions are scheduled by agreement; availability is not guaranteed.
- You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your account credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Pricing & payment
- Some programs are priced after an initial evaluation. Prices, fees, and applicable taxes are shown or quoted before purchase.
- Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; by paying you also agree to their terms. Deposits, where charged, may be non-refundable as described in our Cancellations & Refunds policy.
No guarantee of results; not veterinary advice
Training outcomes depend heavily on consistent follow-through at home, and every dog and household is different. While we use proven, balanced methods, we cannot and do not guarantee specific results. Our services are not a substitute for veterinary or medical care for your dog.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the site unlawfully, infringe others' rights, or upload harmful or unlawful content.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, probe, or circumvent the security or rate limits of the site, or access accounts or data that aren't yours.
Intellectual property & your content
- The website, course materials, videos, training plans, and other content are owned by us or our licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute them without written permission.
- Information and content you submit (messages, dog details, footage you share for review) remain yours; you grant us a license to use it to provide and improve our services, and you confirm it is accurate and yours to share.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The site and services are provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the services, your dog's behavior, or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Alachua County, Florida. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.
Changes & termination
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept them. We may suspend or end access where these terms are violated or where service presents a safety risk that cannot be reasonably managed. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Cancellations & Refunds
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full.
- Unused portions of a multi-session program may be refunded on a pro-rata basis, less any sessions already delivered and any non-refundable deposits, at our discretion.
- Board & train programs require reserving dedicated time and space; deposits for board & train are generally non-refundable once your dog's spot is confirmed.
- Digital/online course purchases are non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required by law.
Safety, Liability & Assumption of Risk
- You are responsible for your dog's behavior at all times, during and outside of sessions, and you agree to disclose any history of aggression, biting, or illness before training begins.
- Dogs must be up to date on core vaccinations to attend in-person or board & train programs; we may require proof.
- Working with animals carries inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume the normal risks of handling your own dog and release us from liability for injury or damage that is not caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- You authorize us to seek emergency veterinary care for your dog if needed during board & train, and you are responsible for the resulting costs.
- We follow safety-first handling practices and will recommend appropriate equipment; you remain responsible for using equipment as instructed.
Communications Consent
By providing your email address or phone number, you consent to receive service-related messages from us about your evaluations, appointments, orders, and inquiries.
Any marketing or promotional messages are optional — you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in emails or by replying STOP to text messages. Message and data rates may apply to SMS.
